Weather

For your safety, we only fly in perfect conditions.

We try to update interested parties as soon as the weather looks reliably predictable. In the dry season, the trade winds off Australia tend to create perfect flying weather; but it is also sometimes too strong - or too light.

And of course we don’t fly if rain is forecast!

If conditions don't allow you to fly at least 15 minutes, we will take you again when the weather is more perfect. 15 minutes doesn't sound that long, but believe us - it feels like a very long time in the air!

Logistics

Getting there:

Our team will be happy to pick you up from your accommodation in the Kuta area.

Otherwise, you can meet us at our office at 33 Jalan Kuta – Mawun, aka the road out of Kuta towards Mawun. We’re fairly close to the main street of Kuta.

There is safe parking for your scooter at our office. From there, we will take you to the launch site. These are on private land, and the site will vary depending on the wind direction.

At the launch site:

Here you’ll get a harness, helmet and you’ll run through a pre-flight briefing with your pilot. After a safety check and a few steps…you’ll be airborne!

Requirements:

Ideally you will have shoes with a good grip
No experience is required

Languages spoken: English, Bahasa Indonesia

Certification:

All of our pilots are FAI certified tandem pilots.
